dark wing (jacon lawrence)May 13, 2005 (Friday): it‘s been six months since I first had this dreams and now I had a constant reminder of the child with black angel like wings similar to mine. I had used my wings for some time now, zooming above the clouds, rising high, diving low, looking down. It’s like blocks of buildings inside a big glass ball, it’s like watching a big flat television; only tiring coz you’re the one’s literally moving around to change your channel. You know just for fun, having these wings are amazing but I can’t help to think why I have these wings? I know am not normal like any other human in this world, well sometimes I don’t think am human at all. Am I alone? Are there any other individual out there who hides like I do? There are a lot of questions in my mind and I want to figure it out. I’ve been living in a boy’s dormitory inside school since my mother’s friend left me; my mother’s friend took care of me when my mother died, they were paying for my fees and I kept borrowing clothes from them until one day at my graduation they told me “Sorry Jessie, we can’t support you anymore.” Luckily our soccer team approved our scholarship and from that day on I’ve been able to study, my mother’s friend keep in touch with me and give some allowance to make sure am ok. I wonder if some relatives would try and get me and so I waited. When I was 18 I got tires of waiting and never wonder why, sometimes at night my back would hurt so much that I can’t sleep, the more I hide it the more it wanted to go out, but I still put into mind what mom said.
